Most noob's don't start out with $250.00 fish. It's not until youre totally infected with the BUG that you forego paying your rent for that must have fish.

yeah that 250 dollar pricetag will make sure only dedicated hobbyists get it. Either that or rich people who probably have a pond in their house. If they were selling them for 20 bucks then yeah I think they would be going into the wrong hands. But then again I don't think arapaimas should be in aquaria anyway (unless you have a tank in the 10 thousands of gallons)
10 thousands gallons? C'mon, I could so fit one in my bathtub...just need powerheads blowing water in it's face so it thinks it's swimming.
