Pimelodus (Rhamdia) guatemalensus

Caught this guy last week in the Rio Uni , eastern Panama

The river is only about 20 ft across, pH 8, undetectable nitrate

Caught with a shoal of Roebodes tetras, 1 Ctenolucius (gar Characin) and 3 Darienheros cichlids.

Duane is that the same species found in the cenotes in mexico?

Could be the same.
This is the 1st time I´ve cought them.
The only other species I´ve caught has been Pimelodus chagresi, and they are obviously different.
The chagresi seem smaller, and have the obvious mid body belt.
