simple, easy to clean and nice to look at for me is Black bottom and backing, a few nice rocks, driftwood, fake plants etc
 
looking sweet, if the shark is 26" how frigging big is the tank? 8ft?

Its 96x30".. The poor guy is having a hard time turning around with the added decor, but he will adjust.. He has had decor before, he just needs to learn to swim towards the top. Silly fish. My local big box store told me they only get 12"!

awesome. i have the same tank dimensions as you. for decor i jus went with a "small" rock structure covering the back portion of the tank, prolly less then 18" wide n 4ft long of structure perfectly centered. leaves lots of swimming space but adds a bit of something to look at. looks good man.
