those are huge! pond in the works out back worrut? now the neighborhood cats will become the hunted! 
damn, that gar looks nasty. I've never lived where there's all gars in the wild. Do they eat people?!!!!
man that is one sweet pond makes me want to make one in my room..for my rtc..i wish i could but if my landlord ever found out she would have a heart attack..and destroy me lol..
Those are nice pics! I thought my room was filled with 2 tanks! LOL its all good though. I wish I could do a big pond but they say not in the condo. Oh well. I have seen huge alligator gars at Sea World here in San Diego. There is one that looks like its almost 10 feet long and 3 others almost as large and they swim in the manatee rescue exhibit. They dont seem to be aggressive at all so I dont think they would try and eat a human. But you never know in the wild I guess. They are pretty crazy looking and I wouldnt try it out. LOL!
