I think we can all agree that it can be pretty hard to get our bass on pellets.

I read several posts about people having their Pinima on pellets. The only bass I have ever had that ate pellets was a Pinima, and this was without really even trying to get him on pellets. My own experience doesn't mean much, since I am still a bass rookie compared to a lot of you, but do you guys agree that Pinima are the easiest to get onto pellets?

My monos were easy, and the orinos came on pellets...azuls are very picky, and ocells seem to be as well.

Ive had no problem getting orinos on pellets. I wasnt even trying to convert them and they just started eating them on their own. Tems are as easy to convert. Mono's,azuls, tems, ocells, orinos seem easy to convert but i think it has alot to do with having a group of fish in a tank with some that eat them. Most of the bass i have that eat them just watched my dats and other fish eating them and thats how it started. Now they would rather have massivore pellets instead of shrimp and fish chunks.

I can tell you the hardest.....

Damn Kelberi's.....

I agree but what can I do,they are my Cichla of choice?

So, maybe my theory of Pinima being the easiest is incorrect...lol.

Yeah, those damn Kelberi:irked:

That pinima sure does like to eat some pellets Tyler. Hell I gave some live food to that tank the other day and he wasn't all that interested. He was waiting for some Massivore. lol Now if only that damn kelberi would behave that way.
