10 gallons for every 1" of shell...keep him in there. Besides, he's going to outgrow the 50 pretty fast.

He's going to need a minimum of 75 G...probably want a 90 G with a good size basking area.

How deep is the water he's in?

about 10" of water but dempsy gave me a dock and i made some stairs to the dock as well out of different sizes of milk/juice bottles/jugs...lol (just for temporary until i get some more docks to make a better stair way to the top)

also dempsy gave me a night light ( the infrared one not to sure its uv but doesnt matter)
