Are pink cons really hybrids, or are they natural? and what are they a cross of? does anyone know?

They are natural species that were selectivly bred for the color. Beyond color they are the same as a normal convict. They do have the ability to hybridize with other species but are not hybrids themselves.

albino sounds alright, are oscars the same way? I don't have oscars, and really don't like them, either, but is it the same type of thing? I think pink cons look kinda like pink severums, could they mix or have regular black n white cons mixed w/them to form the pink con.? I kinda would just like to know how they (pink convicts) came to be that way, like where and how did it start?

I believe they are in fact Albino.

noooo, they're simply pink convicts. Albino means no pigment at all. Red eyes, completely white body. It's abnormal to have a large number of albinos in a batch. True albinos are very rare in nature.

albino oscars as theyre described in stores aren't actually albino. They're lutino's. They have black edging around their outer fins. Not sure if they do or don't have red eyes? I think they have black eyes which is another indicator that it's not albino.
