I Notice My Male Female Convicts Going In And Out Of A Gap Under My Driftwood. Both Male And Female Breeding Tubes Are Out. I Got Them From A Friend And They Layed Eggs And Had Fry In His Tank But He Didnt Know Until He Did A Water Change And Saw All Of The Dead Fry. I Had Them In The Tank For A While Now Should I Be Expecting Eggs Soon?

Yeah actually you should be expecting babies in 3 days or so.

Mine are already out and free swimming, heres a before pic

Yes.....

Convicts are very easy to breed, maybe a bit to easy....I say this from experience I witnessed, at the LFS, the owner has a 300 gallon tub that he put 10 convicts in last year(as cycle fish) he had plans on using it for motoro stingrays, but something came up and the convicts stayed now to this day his tub has over 150 convicts ranging from 1/2" to 6". So I guess my point is; I hope you have a good designated home for your future fry.

ha, any min. now, lol I had a Swarm of fry in a few days. Try doing a cool water, water change. Worked for me!
