They will leave ur bichirs and SD's alone. I'm assuming that's what u were asking.

They can be fed flakes, krill, carnisticks, tubifex,earthworms, massivore etc.

So when you guys say tubigex and krill, do you guys mean frozen or dried?

I'm looking to add four pink tail and four yellow fin chalceus next summer so this is welcome news

I currently have a c. macrilepidotus (pink tail chalceus) and c. eurythrurus (tucan fish) 8"-9" each. Got them at around 3.5-4" together and doing fine. Although, they do like their space on each side of the tank.

So when you guys say tubigex and krill, do you guys mean frozen or dried?

I've used dried.

I've dropped in frozen bloodworms and beefheart. Are it without a problem. It'll thaw it quick with ur water temp.
