i dont know a lot of native fish. the ones i know of is the old common tilapia(dont really know the exact species) american eel(kasili), electric eel(kanduli), pada which is a kind of pike(species?), wild guppies, channa striata or mudfish. I'm sure theres more... any info is appreciated

oh, and the old hito(catfish) which has been replaced by the meatier and bigger african hito(clarias species)

I don't know if you're living in RP or US but I found a few species native to the Philippines that are possible to get depending on where you live. These are all freshwater of course, but you'll find more diversity in saltwater species from the Philippines. Of course if you live in RP you might be able to collect some of these yourself, depending on your local regulations.

Here are some you might be able to find:

Climbing Perch
(anabas testudineus)
(probably some other gouramis as well)

Salmontail Catfish
(big)

Wrestling Halfbeaks
Rasboras
Spotted Barb
(These three might go together?)

Green Spotted Puffer

Asian Arowana
(Not certain which type.)

Snakeheads
(Not certain which type.)

Naldo

It seems to me that you have the hard part covered already. You know whats there now it's a matter of deciding which of the available fish you want to keep.Do you plan to add real native plants as well?
