Hello ,

I go 2 about 12cm last week.
They are in a planted grow out tank and fedd on Söll Organix Shrimp Sticks.
They come out of there hiding places and grab the sticks from the bottom like small RTC´s

My guy is about 10" now, and so is the Jurense, but I just noticed that the jurense is missing one eye, looks as though it's never been there, but I'll have to look back through the pics to make sure. It's hard to see their eyes, but while taking pics today I noticed it and was shocked a little. Oh well.

Are these filamentosis catfish rare? Cuz' I saw one big bunch in a LFS here in my country, wondering if they are the same.

And, how about the growth rate?

Luc, yes they are fairly rare. I had some people in Singapore say they don't see filamentosum that much in the country.

Slow grower, make sure you are really getting a fila and not something misidentified. Beautiful and cool fish. If you get one, post updates.
