Hey guys, I think my filas ate some frozen bloodworms.........I put 3 cubes in the tank last night......well just got back from work at the Hospital and no bloodworms are in the water. Granted yes the fish could have eaten some but that was a lot of bloodworms so I think some filas ate!

Hope to catch them eating it next time though

Is anyones filas getting much longer or more wider and thicker? My biggest one is slowly getting length but getting wider and thicker
 
Just did, take back what I said.

Well, my filas have refused silversides AGAIN! I put 8 small pieces into the tank at night...........this morning 8 left. MAN, WHY WON'T THEY EAT IT!!!! grrrrrr

Kntrygrl you are lucky that yours will eat others besides feeders. I still have some feeders in the tank so I'm guessing once the feeders are all gone and nothing left to eat, they will eat silvers and other frozens.

looking good bro..:headbang2how big is your biggest one..is it 6-7inches.:WHOA:
 
naw, my smaller ones are like 3-4 inches, and my biggest is only like 4-5 inches. What I have seen is that they get wider and thicker. You can see it in the last pic, the big one is much thicker than the smaller one but almost the same size. Bad angle to see it but trust me, I look at them a lot and a lot of times, they all hang out together and I try to measure them.
