Piraiba catfish

Mfk masters, someone in a facebook group posted this... he claims that the top ones are filamentosum and bottom pic are capapretum... please clarify. ThxScreenshot_2016-01-22-06-15-23.png

The circled fish is the only one that I see that looks capapretum to me. This guy might be giving filamentosum away at a whole zero less than what they're worth if he thinks the small spot fish are capas. What are his prices?

Agree with Rob. Funny thing is the rest (4 in the two photos) resemble the piraiba just posted on the previous page by Wes. To my eye.

(I hope I didn't offend anyone with my prior post. I was 99% kidding around and 1% serious.)

LOL it just looks like, very lucky for him to get that guys as his description, compare to the price between capa and fila.
I am wondering what kind of seller that sell to him.
I see 1 capa and 4 true piraiba filamentosum... capa is the smallest fish in the first pic, the others are true fila.

Just curious what the price points you guys have at the fila and cap? The last batch here in Sh which I passed on had the cap at 150 and 275 for the fila. Both around 20-25cm. They sold quickly and i wont have the capacity for them when they are pushing serious size yet so I passed on them.

True filamentosum fetch close to $1K here ($750-$1500) for a small one 3"-6", IIRC.

Guess there is a big price difference although the numbers Ive been posting about are the wholesale to supplier price. One fish here that is really quite expensive compared to the states is the lince cat which is about 4k usd for a 11-12" specimen. Alittle too much for my taste. Can build out a custom tank and fill with stock imo.
