I am very curious to know what you have been feeding this guy also. I use to feed mine pellets, and shrimp. Wouldn't really take fillet too well though.

He eats 2-3 times per week and I feed mostly tilapia filet and he will usually take 3-6 pinky sized slices. And those pics are before feeding so he was actually skinny looking. As for knowing specific species I have researched countless hours on these fish to come to my conclusion of the species.
