Piraiba prices?

I have talked to someone who had a Brachyplatystoma filamentous and a Brachyplatystoma capapretum imported from the amazon. The paribia was up for $350 and was 2' long.

While that is doubtlessly a piraiba, it is almost certainly a capapretum, not a filamentosum.

An importer brought a true one here a few months back but i didn't get the price. However, ive seen a vaillanti that goes for about 200 usd or less converted.

Correct. Though to be fair, even a filamentosum would take a small eternity to get to 9'.

That fish is the King of Catfish on MFK. I freaking love him! I can't wait to see him at 3' or so. If he keeps this rate up, it shouldn't be too long
