Regardless of what people say, you can try if you like. I say add numerous tunnels in your tank similar to those who are bichir enthusiast. But they would probably be enraged at the thought.

Says by a fishkeeper who tried keep flowerhorns, catfish, tetras and peacock bass with piranhas and most of them got eaten by the piranhas....not mentioned that everyone told you to not add any fish to your tank but you ignored their advice.

I do have a problem with someone who give a bad advice to someone.

I really hope you didn't put the bichir with red bellies.... That's a death sentence, there's no way they wouldn't tear it to shreds one nite when there hungry
