Piranaha is sick. Help ASAP

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
maybe it's just his time bro
have a new juvenile rbp shoal and grow them, it will be more interesting
if you buy new RBPs for your 56g tank, buy only 3.
give them more space, so most of the time it can avoid canibalism

I'm buying a 75g full setup from a guy at the local saltwater store I go to, only gonna charge me for $125 for everything I need!

Already a good deal on the tank alone, what will it come with?

Comes with tank, stand, tops, canister filter (can't remember what kind), sand. The. I have a freshwater LED, also a brand new penguin 350 marineland filter I might use instead. I also might use gravel, I don't know which is really better for piranhas so gonna get some opinions. And I also got 2 powers head rated for a 125g for $10 online a couple weeks ago, which I put one in my 93g reef. So not everything, but I have a very good start I feel like.

Sand. And more filtration the better with messy piranhas. Generally canisters on sw or reefs is a bad for the longevity of the filter. I'd keep it on the new tank especially if it has seeded Bio media in it to help cycle it!

So even though Piranhas are messy and everything, sand is the better choice?? I like the look of sand better anyway. Also, I'm thinking about using the canister and the hangover the top filter. What is the best pH for them? I always kept my guys' as close to neutral as possible.. Good or bad idea?

As long as your tap is 6-8 your fine. A steady ph is better then trying to change it!

With sand the substrate compacts enough to keep debris/crap out of it unlike gravel which traps crap. No vacing with sand!

More filters the better Imo

Very true, thank you. Picking up the tank this evening, have all my filters, heater, powerheads. Only need drift wood and plants, and in a few weeks or so, the baby piranhas!
