That's y we all said it's not a good idea... And we're talking about from our experience. And that maybe when it gets big hey may actually have other fish in the tank aside from one solitary fish in a tank.

Check the max size on the spilo and then maybe you'll get my point

So I think there will be no tetras in this tank. I am going to set up the tank tomorrow and try to go to the store thurs. I am pretty sure I want the spilo, but still have the idea of getting one of the diamonds (black, blue or gold) on the back of my mind. Which do you guys think is nicer in the end? As smaller fish the spilo definitely looked better.

i put some tetras in my rbp tank about 2 monts, now i have 0 tetras and all the rbp´s

if you want to experience this, yow know the finish

In the future a larger tank won't be an issue. For now i am only getting a small specimen to grow out. Aquascape has small ruby red spilos and small diamonds that would fit comfortably in the 26 bow front. Also from what I understand both grow pretty slowly. Out of the small p's the spilo is definitely the best looking. At what size do the diamonds become really nice?

anyone know where i could find good pictures of the diamonds?

Proud to say I picked up a ruby red spilo today. She is good looking. Can any of the armored cats or plecos survive with them?
