i have been thinking of getting a piranha but i also want to have a variety of fish,and i want them all to be preadotor fish.I was wondering what type of fish i could get any help would be appreciated

You put them with piranhas and you'll be down to two varieties of fish. Piranhas are the first. Your second category would be "dead fish." Besides, piranhas are illegal in California.

Pygos are the only piranha that can be kept even with other piranha. Even then if you have too small of a tank, they will take chunks out of each other.
And yes, as Druu said, all piranha are illegal in Cali.

you could get diff pygo species (piraya, tern, caribe, RB, super RB) depending on your tank size that is
YUP, your best bet is going with different species of piranha. like a RBP, a caribe, ternz and a piraya piranha. The only thing is that it can be costly and it might not even work due to their aggressive nature. I call the LFS the other day to see how much their piraya were. He told me $150 for a 4" and $400 8". I was going to spend that much and the P get eaten by another p.
He said that a 4-5" inch Ternz was like $85 which was OK. Just try going with a couple RBP's grown them out sell them then get of the expensive killers.

If you want agressive i wouldnt get a piraya, i would only get a piraya with the intention of growing him out. the only thing cool bout mine is his colors (super red look jus as cool), i think they are a little pricey for something thatll get eaten by other species.,but thats jus my opinion
