Hell I thought it was funny... I remember a thread or "post" similar to that but the guy was pretty damn serious...

It is normal at that size... It is difficult to keep a large group of Ps looking totally perfect. Actually you can forget about that for awhile. They will establish their territories and only group up when frightened or feeding....As they grow older the nipping will go down quite a bit. My 13 are almost at that point thank god....Just chill and make sure they are being fed enough (as it seems you are doing). Their appetite is incredible at that size. I would leave him in there unless he starts to do some very seriosu damage. The healing rate on these little guys amazes me even today. I have housed RBs for probably 17 years total.

alright thanks man, i keep them well fed not just to avoid fin nipping but also because it simply amazes me. haha. ill keep u guys updated and ill post a picture of my p's.

LOL, I was not going to make another post just to see how quickly I would get slammed....I was laughing my @ss off typing it.

You could just put the bully in the pond and introduce the rest when they get some size to them, or leave half in the 75 and put half in the pond. Separate them by size, put the smaller ones in the pond.

you also could just put all but a few in the pond, that way you could have a shoal inside to entertain yourself without having to leave the comfort of your home

i heard a lot of bad things about p's not being so good with new tank mates that they didnt grow old with. wouldnt want them to eat the ones i leave in the tank when i re introduce them.

you are going to bring them back and fourth from tank to pond? keep in mind that putting that many ps in that small a tank is gonna be a problem all of its own, unless im misunderstanding what u are saying

Take the bully out and get a knife. Cut part of his fin off and then he will see how it feels and will possibly chill out a bit.......
If that doesn't work take him back out and drop him on the floor 2x I am not talking from 6 feet but a good 3 feet off the ground, this may knock some sense into him...
If that doesn't work, put a little puncture in his side and then throw him back in with the other Ps.....Just be prepared to remove him before they totally shred his @ss...... Then when he heals he can rejoin the group and should have a whole new outlook on life...
I am here 24 hours for advice so do not hesitate to ask :)

Im using this for my signature LOL

oh ok, i think i misunderstood what you were trying to say. no, i want them to be in the pond. dont want to separate any of them at all. i understand the tank is only for grow out. till maybe the 3 inch mark?

Upgrade now. IMO there's no such thing as a "safe growout" tank for any kind of piranha. They will start picking each other off.
