How would I clean and change the water of a Rhombeus tank? What kind of gravel? Do you just stick your hand in the tank with a vaccum and vaccum the waste or do you just change the water and leave the waste there?

yes i agree, you have to vaccume it normally or whats the point? just be careful thats all

how big is the rhom?

If worried or the fish is extra aggresive use a piece of eggcrat to temporarily divide the tank and do 1/2 at a time, I had some rpbs that I needed to do this with.

my friend has four rbp's 6-7 inches and he has plecko's, fruit tetra's, bleeding harts and other tetras. As long as they are very small in relative size they seem to think that it isnt worth their time.

Never had any issues with cleaning my piranha tanks. Now my puffer tanks, now that is a different story . . .

im always nervous too, but not near as nervouse as the p's, they will just hide while you do it, keep an eye out them though, they can get terrritorial. A smart person would feed them well an hour or two before the feeding.

i just ignore them when im cleaning my rbp tank.they are pussies really.dont know about rhoms tho they may be different

I'm sure your fish is more scared of you than vise versa lol.

There are a lot of equipments available commercially where you do not have to "get wet", which in other words, you don't have to stick your hands in the tank.... unless you like it wet.
