Brazilian Piranha Soup

Ingredients:

Piranha, whole fish (or heads)
green vegetables in season or to taste
carrots, peeled and sliced or diced
yams, peeled and cut up
onions, whole small or quartered
salt and pepper to taste
1 or 2 small chilies to spice things up a bit
small ginger root, coarsely chopped
1 or 2 sliced or wedged lemons or limes

Directions:

Boil whole fish in vegetable stock with spices and pieces of ginger. Add fresh cut up vegetables. Remove bones and larger fins from the fish. Slice lemon or lime as garnish. Remember, the head is an aphrodisiac and is often served separately. The soup can also be made entirely from Piranha heads if desired.

tell the parents some story where the kid puts in his hand into the water to pet the piranha when the parents are away.....
they wont give a damn about the piranha but this might make them think.

I had a few questions that I would like to ask about my gold piranha. I bought it a little less than a year ago and havent seen much growth.
He grew about 2-3 inches id say from January 09 untill now. The water paramaters are fine. Doesnt seem to eat much either. Used to eat alot and now it barley touches the food. I feed it raw shrimp.

- The tank is 55gallon and its the only fish in the tank..... I was also wondering if I purchased another piranha, would it survive in the same tank as my gold piranha??

Can some people help me on my issues? Thanks,

Welcome to MFK - you should start your own thread w/ these Q's.
In that new thread it would be helpful to know how big the fish was when you bought it, how big it is now, and exactly how many months you've had it. Most large fish only grow a half an inch a month then slow way down after 6-8". Including a picture would be helpful to ID the species for compatablity.
