From my previous thread, I said pygo keeping and serra keeping has nothing much difference and made some serra lovers disappointed :D. Here I'm going to make them again disappointed :naughty: by letting you know this fact. :grinno:

who can terrorize the foreign waters ? pygo or serra........ THE ANSWER IS PYGO

Here are some facts....
Serra is smooth (not tough) fish (when compared to RBP) who can die very quickly because of many reasons. And it is hard to breed them in captivity and grow slowly.
Pygo is a very strong fish who will not die because of small cases and they can adopt to different types of waters and breed quickly. Also they can become bigger within several months unlike the serra.

Also pygo is involving in pack hunting which can do much more harm than a single or few serras can do in wild.
So pygo can terrorize foreign waters, and serra can terrorize it's own tank sometimes.

So pygo is more dangerous than serra.

You realize EVERYONE who posted in your last thread currently keeps both or did for several years? Youve had yours for 2 weeks.......

And wtf is "foreign waters" ?

I had my first piranhas in 2003. But I had to give them to a friend after 2 years because I had to move to another city for studies (high school). Yes, my new piranha i have for about 2 weeks. 2 of them almost got injured and now living in a different tank, just got the msg today evening from father.

my next thread will disappoint serra lovers more :naughty::naughty::naughty:

So you think a pack of red bellies dropped in a warm lake or river is more dangerous then a pack of serras?

Your scenario describes a solo serra vs a pack of pygos.

Truth is i think the piranhas would be the hunted depending on whats native

yes. Because if we take 50 pygos and 50 serras (no one will release 50 serras to a river i believe coz they are expensive :naughty:), 3 inches each and release them into a river, I believe at least half of serras will die soon because of water change + their slow growth, other predator fish will eat them. But pygos will grow quickly to 6-7 inches within 8-9 months and soon will start to breed. So yes, I believe pygo will grow their numbers very quickly in wild.

but pygos taste better, so everyone will eat them instead of serras.

it means people will catch both, and then throw the serras directly into the dustbin and eat the pygos more frequently. Maybe serras taste like sh**
1 more value added fact for pygos. tnx.
why are u so obsessed with making serras look so bad? wats wrong with serras? did they attack u or something when u were younger?
