Piranha Movie

Yea, I enjoyed it. I dont think it had any scientific background to it at all except for the fact that Piranha live in water. I did however, watch the boats glass bottom scenes very closely, all in the name of science of course. The movie is just dumb and fun,not for kids and im not sure how many females like it. You could make the point that it was a study in the female anatomy?

haha... good point.. I was thinking more about when they mention the old fossil of the piranha. Id like to know when and how they evolved.

i've seen it but other then using the scientific name of red belly piranhas (even though they weren't red belly piranhas) there wasn't any scientific information.

if you're looking to find piranha information, have you checked out opefe.com?

This is all the information I can find on the web concerning the prehistory of piranhas. All articles point to the same fossil specimen found of an extinct 3 foot piranha.

yeah, no documentary i've ever watched goes into the history of piranhas beyond roosevelt's staged visit to the amazon that started all the rumours
