Piranha pond, anybody?

that's a nice size pond. I wasn't talking about the reds breeding, I was hoping you can get the pirayas to breed :)
have you thought about adding more fish? cuz the pond can use a few more caribes.
any full tank shot when they are in your tank?
 
I would be extremely lucky if I got pirayas to spawn but who knows, maybe when they get older and if i build a bigger pond.
I have been thinking of getting an indoor pond.
Caribes would be nice, if I get an indoor pond I will add more fish.

very nice shoal indeed. yes you need a big indoor pond :) maybe with a large viewing window

That is one nice lookin' Piranha pond. I didn't have Piranha in my old indoor pond - Parachromis Dovii instead, I dismantled it due to extremely high levels of humidity within the house. If I had it to do all over again I'd have built an exit fan to eliminate the humidity and mustiness.
 
I have been thinking about intex pools but they dont seem 100% safe.
I like the idea but it would be a disaster if one started leaking.
 
you can use additional pond liners inside for added security and add floor drain(s) next to the pool and build some thing around it too like a tray to help contain water if it does leak and direct the water to floor drain.
