add salt instead of meds if you haven't already

I have, it seems the irritation is going down some, I'm not too sure how long they've had it but it does seem to be getting better....I hope

I had mine in 30 gal and had to move them after 3 months, the reasons

1. too much waste, had to change water every couple days
2. Have you noticed that when you turn the aquarium lights on, they freak out? weel they were getting so big, they bumped into everything and made a mess every time I turned the lights on, to the point I was afraid they might hurt themselves or break the glass.

I'm not sure what the parasite is but a. there are no fish in there for them to feed on b. the guy said to put the metro Iwas putting on my puffer fish's food.

So if I put only 1 baby rb in there it would be ok?

The the demension question, here they are: 2ft 6in in length 1ft 6in tall and 1ft in length.

Also the salt is not for treating the parasites, I have salt in there because I just had a puffer in there and as you know they need salt.

Thanks for sharing the dimensions, i didn't see it on any size chart. one baby red belly would most likely be very skittish and shy until it was a big adult and realized nothing is chasing him in his own tank. hahaha. So i wouldn't recommend it

Ok you prob. didn't find it because it is a bowfront. Then so if I did get a baby one I could keep one for its life but it would not be comfertable untill hes older?

probably 1 or 2.
if you wants solo piranha then look into serrasalmus sanchezi or try to grow out a small mac.

I'm just getting the piranhas from my loc. fishstore and the guy I asked on the phone said they were rbs. But would a serrasalmus sanchezi stay in a 36 bow?
