piranha tank/new black sand

Where did you buy it? I've been looking for a background that colour, I have a similar 2 sided BG but the blue is much darker and dull, I don't like it.

what i did was buy some plain old black wrapping paper and put it as the background..it kinda sucks though because when it gets wet the wrapping paper gets all wrinkled and looks terrible

got it from lfs.i had the black side on it up until a few weeks ago but it looked too dark

Looks great. Do you have a full tank shot for us to see ? Is it hard keeping piranha ? Do they require a lot of care compared to what I keep ( sharks , parrots ) ?

Nope piranha's (red belly's anyway) are very easy to keep. Heavy filtration, weekly waterchanges and a meaty diet and you're set.

im relatively new to keeping piranha but it seems easy enough so far.i will post a pic later with the black side on it and we can have a vote on what looks best.the tank has no lighting so taking pics is difficult i just have a desk light sitting next to it
