Lol u never know....he never said they age of them, just when he obtained them, if there full grown he may be off by a few inches. Im sure every dude has over estimated their length before....
For god sake he didn't say it was a year old, he got it a year ago. There's no 100% way to no for sure without pics. I can see a noob saying his 12" rbp is 15" by mistake.
Op come back
Or someone start another p thread. All this sPeculation is getting to me.....
i guess it's possible that he got it too big but if it weren't already big it would've grown an inch max......and if it were a baby natt it would've stopped at 6 inches or smaller after a year.....way off from a guesstimation of 15 inches. so people aren't wrong with their predictions that it's not a natt unless dude took a big one as a gift in the first place
Haha I'm 99.99999% sure he has a pacu. It's near impossible to get a small piranha to grow 15 inches in a tank too small for him. I have never seen it happen. I am a piranha keeper of many species and trust me it takes a lot of dedication and time to get a piranha to grow to 15" and to have that happen by accident is even more unlikely. U need a oversized tank to do that. Pacus grow out of control no matter what.

For gods sake F1, if he got the fish at 12" TL a year ago and it grew AT ALL, id be amazed. But he said it out grew the tank. An inch isnt going to be a sudden "oh **** my fish out grew the tank" kinda deal. 15" is a big deal for characins. Even +12" payara or GATF or rhoms are a big deal.
