Can you keep any type of pleco in with piranhas??

Nice, but it doesn't prove both spicies can live together forever, that pleco could be dead by now.

From my own experience I can tell you that no living organism can last for a long time with P's.

ive had a pleco with my rbps since the day they came home.. that was almost a year ago.. they never bother the pleco.. not even fin nips..

common pleco btw..

ya I tryed it he was fine for like 2 weeks then seen his head floating when i got home from work

Yes it will work. Make sure the pleco is bigger than the piranhas. For example when I had my shoal of 8" reds, my common pleco was 12" - it was never bothered.

my rhom killed everything that i left in the tank but completely ignored the pleco for a while. Then one morning I woke up and the pleco was done. Its just a matter of time i think.

Even the Ps aren't safe with other Ps. Give the other fish alot of hiding places! Good luck
