Piranhas and Oscar Vs Rat

this world was not intended to make everyone happy or to have everyone see eye to eye . myself I would'nt feed a rat only because of the mess( fur) all over the tank. but I have fed frog's , small lizard's & live pinky mice.. who ever said fish don't feel pain is foolish all thing's living feel pain ( how they express it is not the same) , lettuce and many other vegitable's feel pain but you can't see or hear lettuce scream or scwerm!!???.. NO.... rat's are far more dirter the human's human's (most) don't carry disease, rat's how ever carry all sort's of nasty stuff ever hear of the beubonic plague that was started by the rat not human's.... personaly I hope to see more post's of vid's like this, it's a side of nature that most often don't see...(PETA) PIRHANA EATING TASTY ANIMAL'S.. :grinyes: this vid was savage but so is the REAL WORLD!!!!.... america is one of a few place's were we are hammered at a young age to feel that harveting animal's (hunting, farm rasing) is wrong an cruel, but the people at peta don't see harm in putting out a comic book telling childern that there dad/mom is a monster and evil/or the devil for hunting and fishing. because of there(peta) action's they shoud be ether dismantled or place on the terrorist watch list of the F.B.I....

Wow! This is definately a topic that has sparked a lot of contravorsy. I, for one, hated the video. It was cruel and I would've preferred that the rat was pre killed rather than suffering the way it did. It was something that people, who like furry animals, would not want to see. But it's like a car accident...you're curious of the carnage, so you watch. Love it or hate it, it's what we do as human beings. CM is right that people can do whatever they want...after all...it's America! And Sandtiger, like myself, comes back to see the comments and/or rebutals made. Sandtiger has the right to offer his/her prespective and views such as anyone else on this site. Feeding the rat isn' the issue, it's how it was fed. Look...rats and mice are fed to reptiles, but even then, the rodents should be pre killed to prevent injuries to that animal. That is what the "professionals" recommend as well. Rodents and teeth and claws that will damage a reptile when given the opportunity. Feeder fish...they get their revenge if they're carrying any diseases that it can pass on to the predator. And that's my opinion. Love it or hate it...I can say it!
 
hahaha. i accomplished my goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i knew it would get to ya. always does. doesnt it !!!! as far as your comments go. all were great, all were what i was hoping to get out of you. as far as people in my family dying. it happens. i will shed tears when it does. how much better of a person are you than i? am i wrong because i like this stuff? what did i say that was hypocritical? how long did it take for that rat to go into shock and die....didnt look like it was very long at all. seemed to be ripped to shreds pretty fast. tell me, what is a humane way to kill these animals. why do we not pre kill our feeder fish. who cares how it dies, i didnt see any form of suffering there. sure every animal that is killed will probably have some fear before it dies. if i fell into the water with a bunch of chum drunk sharks it would be destiny and i would accept my fate. after all i have put many animals to their deaths by feeding them to other animals. i would say that would be karma biting me in the ass....actually it would be the sharks but oh well!!!!
 
Sandtiger - I don't know if you are aware but the frozen pinkies and rats you buy to feed snakes etc are frozen alive. I know this for a fact because I know someone who used to own reptile stores. They ship a box of live mice to a store, and they stick it in the freezer, that's why they are all stuck together etc.

Is it better to freeze it alive than have it eaten by P'd? I think it would die a quicker dead like this. A feeder is a feeder.

central - hurry up and make a channa Vs guinea pig video - I'm looking forward to it :D

But to give the guinea pig a chance, drop the water level to half way and put a couple of pieces of bogwood that protrude from the water :D
