I had 5 juvi redbellys in a 40 gal. breeder. I was gonna upgrade the tank in a month or so. Guess I was a little late The three big ones attacked an killed the 2 little ones. Will they be fine without a upgrade for a little while? They seem to get along with the ones still in there. Even leave him little peices of food because his mouth is smaller. They like carry the food an drop it in front of him. Rather neat to watch. Its like there sharing, though they ate his brothers. Wich makes me little upset because I thought they would be alright in there for another month or so.

that's terrible and adorable

Well I found one of them, he somehow got his body stuck in a hole on my decor' he was in there for two days. I wiggled it in the water till he got himself loose an came out. I put him in a new tank for a few hours to make sure he was okay. Then I released him with the others again. Seems to be fine. The other got ate though. I found his head.

It's called survival of the fittest man. Nature at its best...or maybe I should say, carnivores at their best.... They should be okay though.

THAT SUCKS!!

Yeah man, I looked in there when it was feeding time an I was like hmm missing one. I moved some stuff around an didnt see him. Then I just a hollow head hiding in a cave like rock i got in my tank ( mostly for the feeders to mess around in, gives me entertainment watching P's chase them.)
