They are eating hikari pellets. It's fun watching them rise to the surface for their food isn't it?

yes indeed. how did you get them on pellets?
I tried some small dry krill with my caribes but they showed no interested.
from my IP cam I can see they sometimes swim near the surface and check out what's floating around (some of the leaf they bite off my plants) so i thought I might get them to eat some small dry krill...but no luck at all.

It happens to me aswell, I have never been able to get P's eating pellets, they only like fresh meat.

The breeder I bought them from has them on pellets from a very young age. He said he even crushes up hikari pellets to feed the tiny babies. I'll try asking him what he does to encourage them to eat pellets.
