Piranhas not eating

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah I take out all uneaten food within a couple of minutes, these arent my first fish :P. What are sumps?

15 in the 55 gallon??
lol they will start killing themselves soon tho.
20 gall/piranha rule. i got 65 gallon tank with 3 2"caribas
change your tank or sell some of your Ps.
if u reduce them to less numbers ,starve them for 3-4 days, then they will accept any food ull give them .

i had 7 in a 135....15 in a 55 is :WHOA:

15 rbp in a 55g??? that has to be something of a record.... lol.... seriously though you need to look at your filtration.... and look at it fast!

piranhas not eating?
weird situation
mabey its because u have wayy to many in that small of a tank
and they are probobly stressed
i found they are more aggresive when they are in smaller schools
atleast mine are
ive had 13 before and they were always skitish
but when i sold em and kept 4 they were very aggresive

All I can say is wow!!!:WHOA:

I have never had that many rbp's in 1 tank b4..
I had 8 of them in a 75g, and after a while they started to eat each other. And I was feeding them 2 times a day.

Get rid of some of those while they r still alive..

sorry for the tripple post
but thats nowhere near a record
i had 13 rbp in a 20g tank before i knew anything about fish keeping
i cleaned the tank basically everyday
because they pooped soo much
and i eventually sold em back to my lfs when they got to be around 3 inches lol
i no i no
i was dumb
but that was a like 5 years ago

i had 12 baby reds in a 55, with two AC110s and a fluval 304 and i still did water changes almost every other day until i lost one then i broke them up.
they probably arent eating because they are stressed beyond belief. . i agree with everyone above, you should downsize, or get a larger tank. because while they are alive, you can maybe sell them, if u wait, that will no longer be an option. good luck, keep us updated.
