Has anyone kept exodons with piranhas? Will they be considered food at some point? Any info will help. I'm thinking of adding about a dozen exodons with my two 8" pirayas and 10" ternetzi. Thanks

I've had one with my RB's for over 2 months now. He will fight for food with the piranhas at feeding time. I tried adding a pleco to the tank, however the RB's killed it within the first few hours and the exedon was right there with them picking at what was left of it. I got mine at the same time I got my RB's and they were in the tank right next to each other in the store, so that might make a big difference. However I know at any time he could "dissappear", cause it could happen I know.

with such big piranhas i think it will work, some will always get eaten, but some will make it.it isnt easy to catch an exodon esp for larger piranhas.just make sure they are introduced after the ps are full and maybe just befor the lights are swiched off for the night.

As a matter of fact I' d rather feed piranhas with minnows which are far cheaper and easier to ger dude....:screwy::naughty:.

Cheers.
