piraya growth rate?

Hi there, i have kept nattereri befor but was thinking of setting up a tank for piraya. I was thinking of getting soem little guys and growing them out. I kno growth veries depending on different things but lets say in optimum conditions. I herd they grow alot slower then reds, anyone els have experiance with these guys. thanks.

i believe they grow about 4" a year.
In the first year mine grew to be 6"-7" a year later they got to about 9"-just over 10".

oh nice so you dont find them to be slower growing then other pygo's?
