sorry for the loss man. it was like hw i felt when my first redtail died because it choked on a fish.
 
Howdy, and my heartfelt condolences. That really sucks. Having pirayas myself, I truly feel for you. Granted, I am looking at the pics on my small Droid, but are the wounds really lethal? Looks more like the tail got chewed off. Painful, but I'd expect a p to survive such mauling. Are you sure it didn't die first and then got eaten? Either way, two is not a good number...divider is a good idea...a sturdy one!

thank you, the wounds looked pretty lethal up close i could see bone coming out below his tail, they had tried killing this particular fish off once before but he managed to survive with very little tail, then this time they finished the job, my other 2 look like they are behaving together as of now, im trying to figure out how to seperate them since whenever i do work on the tank they are side by side i guess i will do it with a large net its difficult to manage them when they grow up lol
