Thanks, guys. Indeed, there is about a dozen Endlers in the tank.
Five weeks ago I introduced about two dozen. Only a few made it thru the first two weeks. Then I added another couple of dozen, hoping they'd learn from the survivors. Looks like they did! They're all juvenile, but some males are already coloring up.
No worries - I am not going to hold my breath - I can re-stock from my Endler breeding colony but I am curious as to when the pirayas are large enough to ignore the small fry as negligible snacks
