To all those saying its not possible your probably wrong as far as im aware you can inject a bluegill egg with piranha sperm or dna. It worked with glowing fish why not bluegill piranha.

Because the DNA sequence cannot and will not align to make a viable creature. I should really brush up on my biology.

you know i actually heard this story a few years ago some kid apparently caught a strange looking sunfish and thought it was a sunfish/piranha hybrid think it was on the news

Lemme make myself clear again. THE DNA SEQUENCE WILL NOT ALIGN THEREFORE A VIABLE CREATURE CANNOT BE CREATED. Inject it with sperm all you want, its not going to do a thing.

Thats a totally different story. The danios DNA has a slot open that is taken up by the jellyfish DNA allowing it to glow. It is NOT creating a hybrid. Just drop it. Its impossible.
