Pit Bulls

Any dog can be dangerous even small toy breeds. It's the mind that makes a dog dangerous not the breed. And learning something about how dogs think will help you when you walk into that room with the pit bull you don't know.

Nice dogs everyone. :)

I agree, but it is a hell of alot easier to fend off a pack of 6lbs yorkies then a lone 70lb pit! ;)

*secretly wishes he has the chance to fend off a hoard of 6lb yorkies or six year old zombie kids*

One of these days I will own one of these beautiful dogs. Just not right now with a one year old running around the house. Maybe when she is a bit older her first dog will be a pi tto protect and love her!

I agree getting a pitty would not be a good idea with a young kid around.

Not because the dog cant be trusted but the child!!

No offence to you my friend but children are not good with dogs even when they play they have no idea what they are doing to the dog and it doesnt matter what dog it is when its had enough of cars driven over its head or dolls walked up its back its gonna react. not all the same way granted but they do all react in a way you wouldnt want them to.

i love terriers in general and its a shame they have a rep for ferocity rather than the great working dog they used to be and still are.
