Hello; One of the articles mentioned that a fund was started for saving the dog. I would like to know if the dog gets more money than the child.

Candle light vigils and t-shirts for the dog????
 
It's not that I think this is the wrong thing to do, it just leads me to think what's
next, a Supreme Court of the K9s?? I better not pay for that!
 
not defending any dog attack but in the U.S golden retrievers have attacked and killed more children in the past 10 years than any other breed you just don't hear about it as its not considered a vicious breed. jut like you don't hear about the people who kill other people with a bow and arrow . It does not have that shock factor.. the news reports any mix breed as a pit bull .. dog attacks are the result of poor ownership .. any breed can bite and kill i can get a link to a pomeranian the mauled and killed an infant about 5 years back.. i think people should need licenses to own a man stopper breed or a bully breed. all attacks are very sad :(
 
I totally oppose that such a ruling can even be handed down.
Not one more dollar should be spent on the dog who hurt the child. The boy needs more surgeries & lots of ongoing medical care.
NO way is there enough $$ in any fund to pay for all that. It is not right.
The judge even said (the boy) "Kevin will pay the price for the rest of his life."

Hello; where did you get this about golden retrievers? This does not match the information on other sites.

I wonder if it was even the dogs family who pushed this case. Is the family's intention to keep the dog?
