Could be wrong but looks like an awesome clown loach behind the Goby in the pic. It's a shame sometimes, but it's just life. I had a vietnamese coworker and we got to be good friends. I asked him one time if people back in his country really ate dog and raised them as livestock sometimes. His eyes glazed over and he told me like a man in love about some of the best ways to eat dog. Meat is Meat is Meat. Any emotional attachments are our choice and a luxury. Someone starving or who doesn't have other options find a westerners disgust puzzling.

True story, The Mongols during the invasion of europe found the caucasian peasants eating horses which were a sacred and noble animal to the mongols. They were MORTIFIED at this practice. They taught the europeans to use them to farm and ride for transportation and warfare and changed the way europeans thought of horses. Food to friend.

That is some sort of carp also for food.

Bottom right? Oh well.. false loach sighting.. lol

Hello all, I was given a few marble goby about a month ago. The largest one is about 20". I am wondering how to make sure it doesn't starve to death. I saw the smaller ones eat live fish, but never the big fella. Seems to just sit at the bottom of the tank and sleep. Please advise

Maybe you never notice it has eaten if not try putting a prawn in front of it.
