Thinking about getting a Pixie Frog...

Just wondering what the best substrate would be.

If more that none can live with each other at a time, and if so how many in a 20 Gal.

If they need any special lighting.

And Ideal Temperature for one.

Thanks :D:D:D

Coco mulch, EcoEarth, Bed-a-beast for substrate. No special lighting required.Only house one per tank. I keep my pixie's temperature in the mid 80's on one end and the other I keep in the mid 70's.

well pixie can stay in a ten gallon for females and a 20 long for males
substrate cocunut fiber
theres no special lighting
and dont keep them together thay will eat each other
try to keep them at room temerature but not freezing cold

lol nvm i cant get one anymore... my mom doesnt like the idea of me getting a big frog that eats mice, she actually told me to stick to geckos and if i wanted a frog to get a red eye tree frog becasue their pretty...lmao

You don't necessarily have to feed it mice all the time. Does she have a problem with frozen mice as well? Crickets and worms are good. I use Eco-Earth for mine. He's about 7"

I rarely feed mine mice. My girl stays on crickets, nightcrawlers, and the occasional fish. She only gets mice maybe three or four times a year...

:iagree:with all of the above, 74 to 84 degs, Worms, bugs, lights don't matter, 20L is best, large water dish, keep it clean, no tap water

I use tap water, but I am on well water :D
