What do you guys reccomend for a first time frogger. Both of them look super cool and I just discovered them from this site. I love my fish but think I have to get one of these also. Also how fast do these things grow. thanks in advance.

I have a young pyxie that I got at the beginning of October and he has been a lot of fun to keep. He's tripled in size since I got him and is an eating machine. If you plan on getting one be prepared to buy or breed a lot of food for them to eat. This guy's stomach is a bottomless pit. I've never kept a pacman so I can't tell you how they compare to pyxies.

ive never kept both
but dont pixies get alot larger than pacman frogs?
i personally think pacman frogs look alot better

i own both and i say pixies are a lot better than a pac mans

if you wont a big frog go for pixie
if you wont not as big frog go for pac man

i'd say pixie...

i prefer pacmans, but pixies are probably easier for a first timer

i think the humidity was too low

10 gallon for females and 20 long for males

I'd go with a Pyxie. My old roommate had both and the Pyxie is still alive while the Pacman died during the winter.

Pacmans look far nicer and I find that you see them more often, but the pyxies just burrow and hide. That's is my opinion
