Pixie or Pacman?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
When I first got my pyxie he hid for the first week. But now he's always out or partially buried waiting for me to feed him. I just picked up a 20 gallon long for my frog today so hopefully I'll have it set up soon.

how can I keep the humidity up?
Misting like 3 times a day did nothing and the water bowl just evaporated
I started pouring water in to keep the soil moist and I had little flies breeding:nilly:
I've heard of some people keeping them in a tank with gravel and like 1" of water
Would that work?

How do you tell if the frog is male or female?

For which frogs?

Well at the moment my pyxie is in a 10 gallon tank with coco mulch bed-a-beast as substrate. I mist it twice a day and he also has a large water bowl. I have an UTH for warmth and I haven't had any problems keeping the humidity up. I'm not sure what you did wrong.

i think the humidity here is just too low too keep up w/ by manual misting
i have seen little automatic misting systems, r they worth it?

were you using a screen top? Those are really bad when trying to keep the humidty up
