Ive had this guys for 3 years now maybe more sine he was 2-3" and ive never really given him the spotlight so here he is in his new tank where he seems much happier :) oh btw can anyone sex it? Hes about6-7". Thanks and enjoy

I guess white/light substrate washes out bichir colors, but this one almost looks like a low grade platinum sen? Was it whitish/yellowish when you first bought it?

....but then again 9 times out of 10 I am wrong when trying to ID bichirs. :(

Irregardless, I really like the color. Nice sen.
 
Hey yea he has always been white no brown whatsoever and he been on everything from blue to red to sand to beige tile and its never effected its color. I have always wondered but dont know any sen experts to ask :)

Haha, I think your plain ol senegal, may not be so plain ol! Very expensive bichir (relatively speaking). Very nice!! How much you pay for it?
