Hey guys,
thank you everyone for helping me locate and buy my new planiceps! He just arrived like 30 mins ago! I am acclimating it right now! I am posting some pics here! I origionally posted that it was 11" but to my suprise when it arrived it was 13"! More bang for my buck I guess! He looks like he expirienced some difficulties in making it here, but is doing fine so far! He punctured the bags he was in with his left pectorial spine and broke half of it off in the styrofoam box. About half the water leaked out insid the container. Other than the spine I can see no damage so he is otherwise perfect. It was going into my 30 gal for observation for the 1st week, but he is much bigger than I expected, and i don't want him to eat my limas which are just around 8" right now lol! So he is going into my 100 gal pond right away, probably much to the dismay of my 3 goldfish in there! LOL! oh well. this really is a dream come true! I'll update later on today to tell you how he is doing in his new home!

man know i want my planiceps still have to wait 15 days it looks great!:clap hmmmmmmm i wonder if i can get my planiceps this weekend that would be awesome!
 
that would be awesome! I guess some of us mfk got planiceps fever right now! This is one of the most beautiful catfish I have ever seen! Good thing the 100 gal is in my room, I can watch him 24/7 now!!!!!
 
He just went into the pond a few mins ago, and he is swimming around nicely! In a few months when he is about 18-20" I will add him to the 350 gal pond, and from there he goes into a 750 gal pond!
 
I hope so, if you do post up some pics for us! How big is it supposed to be?
 
That is a nice catfish...how big do they get and what price range do they run?

Also, how do you have your ponds setup to accomodate fish? Indoor/Outdoor, etc...

they get 5ft and sometimes over! they run from $70 for little ones to over 100 for ones the size of necrocanis which is 13" and indoor most definatly you dont want him to die now do you?

i will it is supposed to be like 6-7" for $69.95 im goig to try to bribe the guy to lower the price it worked 2 other times so maybe it will work this time!:naughty: i usually give the guy a tip man now i cant wait because tomarrow im going to the fish store right after i get to ride in a camaro dragster:woot:
