I know you dont want to hear it, but endeli's, id sharks, and clown knifes get huge. You may want to check with your lfs and see if they take large fish trades when these fish out grow your tank. Sounds like a great tank for motoros though. You may want to go with two males as they dont get as large as females. Good luck.

Scott S, thank for the concern but i'm well aware of the max size on these fish, and i f i couldnt house them then i'd stick with smaller species. Personally just the thought of ANYONE buying and looking for a place to dump them at the same time is VERY irresponsible. they are living creatures. Also you forgot the Cuban gar's they also get some nice size too them! As for the ray's the pair I’m looking at have been raised together and a mating pair, so it'll be Male female!
BIG is what I’m going for, the 240 is the current tank has a nice wide footprint, plan to build a 8x4x2 tank this summer for the group, should give them plenty of space for quite some time,
