:-Planning for tank (I will hopefully be getting soon)

I now will know in about 4 weeks if I am getting my 7x3x2 tank or not. I am waiting to find out if I am moving house to a plot of land which will need a house built on so if I do move there it will be awhile before I get my tank (the land is right beside my house). So anyway I want to start of by getting a silver arowana then at around Christmas time buy a gold or red arowana then a few months after than get either a red or gold Asian arowana, an African arowana or an Australian arowana. Will I be okay doing this in a tank this size? I also like giant red-fin gourmais, African tiger fish, motoro/leo rays and gars (spotted) but what do you think about these? I was looking at this substrate which was about 2mm gravel as I don't really like sand much. I was going to collect river rocks as well for decoration. I am going to use 2 eheim professional 2 filters so how many fish do you think I will be able to get if they are around 1ft-3ft max? There are many other fish I like but the ones I listed above are just some of my favourites.

sounds like a very good set up, lose the african tiger fish though those things get way to big for your tank, as for your filteration i would go with something alittle more powerful like a wet dry filter or 2 of these

other than that and the atf, your setup sounds promising .

I am not definatly sure on what I am going to do yet I just want to find somethings out to help make up my mind . I thought that I wouldnt beable to get a atf but are they any other fish with teeth you can see like it? Would any fw barracudas be compatable (I prefer the saber tooth)? Also the eheim pro 2 is the biggest filter I can find for sale in the UK so I think I will have to have 2 of them.

I just found the filter you sent me for sale and it is cheaper than the 2 I intended to get. Think I would be better getting 2 or 1 of them? I havent used a canister filter before, is it hard to separate the different media when they need to be replaced? Also I meant to say eheim professional 3 but I got confused . Would 2 300W heaters be good or too much?

not sure. seem like underpowered, need more flow, tank should be turned over several times, you need a second opinion,
