I will say that chocolate cichlids are the only thing my psittacus would not tolerate. He lived fine with lugubris and saxatilis pikes, multiple species of Geophagus and Heros, even some West African Pelmatochromis. But he sought out my chocolate cichlid and harassed the hell out of her. I eventually had to rehome her.
One word of advice on psittacus: they are blackwater fish, and though they'll grow out and do well in harder water, they are extremely sensitive to dissolved organics and nitrates in the tank. To successfully keep them, especially in harder water, you will need to do regular large water changes. Their already-enlarged sensory pits along the head and lateral line are very susceptible to HITH otherwise. Also be prepared for giant fish, males capable of growing to 14", so they will easily dominate a 180 compared to the other stock you're considering.
