Planning my 125gallon tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The lima may eventually outgrow your 125g. The 4 line pim would be a better choice. As far as pikes avoid the venezualan they will outgrow a 125g as well.

I would have to say either a Orange Pike Cichlid, speckled pike cichlid, or a cobra pike all of them are pretty cool.the orange is my personal favorite.

Ok awsome, thanks everyone. It looks likes i'm going with the orange pike cichlid and the 4-line pim. Now i just need to finish building my stand and painting my room lol. Do you guys think there is going to be problems with the Pbass and the NTT? Seeing as the NTT grows really slow and the Pbass grows really fast? Or with any of the other fish for that matter?

buy a bigger ntt like 6 inches and start your pbass small but theres no way they will eat a 6 incher. but a small one is a bad call.

Hmm ok maby i will buy the pbass last, In a couple months or so after i get the NTT to let it grow a bit. On a completely unrelated subject i set the tank down on my stand and i don't know if this will fix itself when its filled or not, but the two opposite corners of the tank are slightly above the stand, very miniscule but still. I can take some pictures if you guys need a better visual.

4 lines are awesone ive seen really big ones they look great. Pictures would be nice :D

Can you put up a pic of how big a gap it is between the stand and tank?

Any kind of wobble and I would suggest foam board underneath the tank to settle it evenly. It would suck to lose fish because of something so small.

Here the pics of the tank and stand, still need to build the sides and doors. Sorry for the poor quality close ups. And there is no wobble at all, at least that i can notice.
